About The Position

Responsible for providing leadership for facilities, inventory control, and warehouse management systems. The role coordinates and monitors work across departments involved in production, warehousing, and distribution; oversees warehouse performance, employee productivity, operational budgets, inventory processes, and support services; and leads building projects and equipment maintenance. The position applies financial and operational data, continuous-improvement methods, and organizational policies to improve efficiency, profitability, and compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience, or equivalent education and related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organization, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Experience with various ERP and CMMS software systems.
Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws.
Experience in wholesale or operational management or other related industries.
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP or a similar system.
Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies and strong root-cause analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, manage, and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization.
Review financial statements and data and use them to improve profitability.
Prepare, control, and manage operational budgets.
Control total inventory management by ensuring compliance with receiving and inventory control procedures; develop or recommend procedural changes and best practices as warranted.
Apply root-cause analysis and knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
Coordinate and monitor departments involved in production, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
Monitor warehouse performance and implement improvements.
Manage the quality and quantity of employee productivity.
Lead building projects, including warehouse systems and building or conveyor improvements.
Provide material handling equipment (MHE) technical support and recommend ways to maximize efficiencies.
Manage the maintenance of equipment and machinery.
Ensure safety compliance of all team members.
Monitor, manage, and improve the efficiency of support services.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
