About The Position

As the Sr. Director of Product Management for Prisma AIRS - AI Security Platform, you will lead the development and scaling of core AI threat detection services. The role is part of Palo Alto Networks’ product management organization and offers the opportunity to shape AI security products and address customer needs in an emerging market. The position calls for strong technical and analytical skills, enterprise AI security expertise, customer engagement, and the ability to translate business requirements and market trends into product strategy and plans. You will lead the Prisma AIRS AI Security Services product management team, develop product vision and roadmaps with PM leadership, and work closely with engineering and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality products. You will communicate product plans to customers and internal stakeholders, contribute to product marketing and go-to-market efforts, and support product coverage across related teams. The role is based on an in-person collaboration model: most teams work from the office full time, with flexibility when needed. The starting annual base salary range is $267,800 to $367,500, depending on qualifications, experience, and work location. Compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Requirements

BS/MS or equivalent experience, or equivalent military experience.
12+ years of experience in product or security organizations, including at least 5 years in a lead or management role.
Experience with cloud, networking, security, and AI enterprise products or platforms.
Experience in network and AI security.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and contribute to cross-functional teams.
Experience in fast-paced environments with overlapping projects and deliverables.
Proven track record leading focused product management teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong desire to take ownership of the full product lifecycle.

Nice To Haves

MBA preferred.
Experience with “AI for Security” and “Security for AI” is highly desirable.
Experience building AI/ML-powered solutions for an enterprise platform is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the Product Management team for Prisma AIRS - AI Security Services, building AI threat detection security modules that work together to provide strong customer security.
Collaborate with PM leadership to develop product vision, strategy, roadmap, and technology requirements based on market and customer needs.
Work cross-functionally with NGFW, Cloud-Delivered Shared Services, Strata Cloud Manager, and AI Security teams to deliver the platformization strategy.
Develop, manage, and communicate the product roadmap to customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering to solve problems and deliver high-quality products.
Work with product marketing to develop messaging, sales tools, and marketing content for sales and field marketing teams.
Coordinate with NPI, certification, professional services, support, and education teams to ensure product coverage.
Drive product pricing and go-to-market decisions.
