  • Proven ownership of a large marketing budget and a resourcing model spanning internal teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated international scope, including running programs across multiple markets and understanding localization, regional autonomy, and time zones.
  • Deep systems and tooling fluency, including selecting, implementing, and driving adoption of workflow and marketing operations platforms.
  • Hands-on, demonstrable AI proficiency, including concrete examples of workflows rebuilt with AI and their results.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, including the ability to distill a complex portfolio into a clear one-page narrative for a CMO or executive team.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias to build structure without smothering a creative culture.
  • Willingness to travel to the San Francisco or Los Angeles office two days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in streaming, media, entertainment, or another consumer subscription or consumer technology business.
  • Experience standing up a program management function from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end marketing go-to-market operating model, from campaign intake and prioritization through briefing, launch, measurement, and retrospective, across functions and markets.
  • Run annual, quarterly, and campaign-level planning cadences that turn CMO strategy into a sequenced, resourced, and committed roadmap.
  • Drive cross-functional launches with Content, Product, Engineering, Data, Ad Sales, Legal, and Finance, clarifying scope, dependencies, decision-making, and timing.
  • Develop an operating framework for international markets that supports local relevance and regional speed while sharing processes and learnings across markets.
  • Establish a single source of truth for the marketing calendar, program status, risks, decisions, key work, and learnings across markets.
  • Own the marketing budget process with Finance, including building, tracking, and reforecasting the budget and connecting spend to outcomes.
  • Build and maintain a resourcing model covering internal teams, agencies, and contractors, with visibility into capacity, utilization, and investment levels.
  • Partner with functional leaders on agency and vendor operations, including scoping, statements of work, performance reviews, and consolidation decisions.

  • Own the marketing workflow and technology stack, including project management, creative operations, asset management, briefing, approvals, and reporting.
  • Consolidate and simplify fragmented tools into a coherent, usable system, prioritizing adoption and usability over adding tools or processes.
  • Build reporting and dashboards that provide leadership real-time visibility into delivery, spend, capacity, performance, and outcomes.
  • Define and steward standards for briefs, intake, naming, taxonomy, approval paths, and definitions of done.
  • Identify and eliminate duplicate reporting, manual status chasing, unnecessary handoffs, and recurring meetings that can be replaced by better systems or clearer ownership.
  • Lead a global program management team and develop managers and individual contributors across functional teams.
  • Partner with the CMO and marketing leadership team, preparing leadership reviews, business updates, and executive-level marketing narratives.
  • Raise organizational operating effectiveness, enabling the team to work faster with greater clarity and less friction.
  • Redesign workflows around AI by identifying and deploying automation or agent assistance for briefing, status reporting, competitive tracking, localization, quality assurance, and asset routing.
  • Evaluate and deploy AI tools across the marketing stack, considering build-versus-buy choices, cost, data governance, and brand safety.
  • Use AI daily for work such as synthesis, planning, forecasting, documentation, and analysis, and model AI fluency for the organization.
  • Upskill the marketing organization by establishing practical AI guidelines, training, and responsible-use guardrails in partnership with Legal and Security.
  • Measure AI investments against cycle time, cost per output, and quality.
