The Senior Director Human Resources will collaborate closely with senior leadership to plan, facilitate, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate policies, activities, and staff to attract and retain top talent. This role will lead our HR, Staffing, and Recruitment teams in day-to-day operations, driving excellence and consistency throughout the organization. The position oversees the daily workflow of human resources departments and collaborates with leaders across manufacturing sites to guide and align communications, culture, and workflows. The ideal candidate will maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, applying this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to senior leadership. This role leads the HR team in conducting research and analysis of organizational trends, including the review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information systems (HRIS). The Senior Director will guide and administer human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale. They will help plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs, and manage discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. This role collaborates with senior leadership to identify and implement the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Travel may be required to other Hyve locations. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • BS in Human Resources or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in HR management.
  • Minimum of 2 years in Manufacturing preferred.
  • Over 5+ years of experience in management and mentoring HR Department.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of California labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building effective work relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale HR functions from the ground up.
  • Innovative and proactive approach to addressing HR challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong skills in analysis and problem-solving.
