About The Position

The Senior Director, Client Strategy & Experience is a senior program leader responsible for designing the channel and marketing programs that connect brand vision, platform capabilities, and local activation into measurable outcomes for our clients. This role brings a deep command of program design - spanning co-op program development, loyalty strategy, marketing and operational playbooks, marketing plans, and partner communication frameworks - and is grounded in an understanding of client data, industry trends, and emerging best practices. The Senior Director operates as both a strategic thinker and a hands-on practitioner, translating insights into recommendations that drive meaningful impact at the brand, partner, and local level.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, channel marketing, partner program development, or related discipline ideally within a marketing technology or agency environment
  • Deep expertise in designing and managing co-op programs, loyalty programs, marketing plans, and partner communication strategies within complex, multi-tier distribution or franchise ecosystems
  • Strong analytical capability able to interpret performance data and market trends and translate findings into clear, strategic recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable program frameworks that balance brand standards with the flexibility required for local market execution
  • Experience collaborating with platform and technology teams to align program strategy with available tools and capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to develop compelling client-facing materials and present recommendations with clarity and confidence
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple program workstreams across a portfolio of clients simultaneously
  • A natural collaborator who works effectively across client partnership, delivery, analytics, and product functions

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive channel and marketing programs that bridge brand strategy, platform capabilities, and local market activation including, but not limited to, co-op programs, loyalty initiatives, marketing plans, and partner communication strategies
  • Build structured marketing and operational playbooks and program frameworks that enable consistent, scalable execution across diverse client and partner ecosystems
  • Ensure all program design is rooted in measurable outcomes defining clear KPIs, performance benchmarks, and success metrics that tie program activity to business results
  • Balance brand compliance with local market flexibility, designing program structures that empower local users while maintaining brand integrity across the ecosystem
  • Leverage historical performance data and trends across the client portfolio to identify patterns, surface insights, and inform strategic recommendations
  • Monitor and synthesize industry trends, emerging best practices, and marketing innovations to ensure our program and platform approach remains competitive, relevant, and forward-looking
  • Develop and maintain a point of view on what is working across program types, translating those findings into actionable guidance for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Apply a test-and-learn mindset to program design, using data and industry insights to refine approaches and continuously improve outcomes across the client set
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to client stakeholders on all aspects of channel and marketing program design, bringing structured thinking and informed recommendations to every engagement
  • Present program strategies, recommendations, and performance insights to client teams in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Partnership, Delivery, Analytics, and Platform teams to ensure program strategies are executable, well-supported, and aligned to broader account objectives
  • Adapt program strategies to the unique needs, structures, and maturity levels of each client while maintaining a consistent strategic framework
  • Partner with Client Partnership to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts contributing strategic POVs, program concepts, and thought leadership that elevate client conversations and unlock incremental revenue
  • Shape proposals and new business narratives by bringing program design expertise and a data-backed perspective on what drives results for brands operating at the local level
  • Contribute to the development of the broader strategy practice by sharing frameworks, program innovations, and market intelligence that raise the collective capability of the team
