Requirements

  • Experience in demand forecasting, master production scheduling (MPS), and finished-goods or component planning in the technology, hardware, or hyperscale infrastructure sector.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating directly with contract manufacturers.
  • Technical and commercial understanding of hardware architectures and global commodity supply dynamics, including compute, storage, networking, and sub-assemblies such as CPUs, NAND, DRAM, and PCIe/HBA cards.

Responsibilities

  • Combine demand inputs from Sales, Product Management, Finance, and key customer accounts to build a master demand signal that guides procurement, build schedules, and product availability.

  • Work with component suppliers, flash drive manufacturers, and server contract manufacturers on request-commit processes to secure supply commitments.
  • Provide forecast intelligence for monthly and quarterly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) forums.
  • Assess global supply-chain trends, geopolitical dynamics, and component market changes to model attach and fill rates and project sub-assembly and commodity needs across compute, storage, and networking hardware.
