Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, or other Business related degree required (BBA, BSMGT etc)
- 3+ years of Finance healthcare setting required
- 1 Year of Decision Support experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- CPA - Certified Public Accountant Upon Hire preferred
- Other relevant certification upon hire preferred (HFMA etc)
Responsibilities
- Assist the hospital in navigating productivity and support decision making for the future finances and purchase capital of the hospital
- Perform Financial analysis, data modeling and data analysis using statistical techniques.
- Analyze variances reported in order to identify the causes and implications.
- Participate in benchmarking efforts that will be used to measure and set goals for improving performance.
- Prepare and deliver decision support reports to both internal and external customers.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and Power Point presentations.
- Establish data accuracy and validity derived from a variety of systems.
- Work with ITS and other personnel to ensure proper utilization of data.
- Develop and lead training programs for new and current users of decision support system.
- Explain clinical and quality based decision support application topics.
