About The Position

This role is for a Sr. Decision Support Healthcare Financial Analyst, working full-time day shifts in the Financial Planning department. The position emphasizes work-life balance, opportunities for educational and professional growth, and interaction with various hospital departments. The analyst will support regional healthcare strategy and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care through nursing education, research, and innovations.

Requirements

3 Years Finance in Healthcare exp. required
Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, or other business related is required
Strong PC literacy with full suite of Microsoft Office applications, including Access.

Nice To Haves

working experience with: Alteryx / Tableau / Teradata highly desired
1 Year Decision support experience is preferred
CPA - Certified Public Accountant Upon Hire is preferred
Other Clinical Certification Upon Hire is preferred
Prefer experience with relational database technology.
Prefer experience with healthcare decision support systems, such as: EPSi, Strata, or Oracle EPBCS.

Responsibilities

Perform data modeling and data analysis using statistical techniques.
Analyze variances reported in order to identify the causes and implications of said variances.
Participate in benchmarking efforts that will be used to measure and set goals for improving performance.
Establish data accuracy and validity derived from a variety of systems.
Develop and lead training programs for new and current users of decision support system.
