About The Position

Amentum is hiring a Sr Data Steward / Customer Engagement professional to provide comprehensive automation and information technology support to the Data Capabilities Division’s worldwide intelligence dissemination mission. The program works with government and military stakeholders so intelligence professionals can consistently access the appropriate data. Its support services include operational management, information sharing, data brokering and governance, messaging support, and access management. The role provides data management and customer engagement support to Army intelligence stakeholders and data platforms. It includes gathering requirements, facilitating technical meetings, researching data sourcing options, supporting Army-wide data governance planning, and helping systems connect with Army, DoD, and IC data solutions. Work is performed at an open office desk within a SCIF. The schedule is Monday through Friday, eight hours per day, with core hours from 0900 to 1500.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate initial engagement meetings and technical exchange meetings on data and information requirements and coordination tasks.
Four years of demonstrated experience providing data integration support in data governance, data architecture, data warehousing, data quality management, metadata management, data operations management, and data discovery.
Four years of demonstrated experience leading a team and managing subordinate work tasks involving intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
Ability to draft and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Experience using SharePoint.
Current TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a polygraph.
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree, with the stated experience alternatives: bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in an intelligence discipline, or associate degree and 12 years of experience in an intelligence discipline.
Ability to obtain DoDD 8140.01 (formerly DoDD 8570.01-M) certification / IT Level II (CompTIA Security+) within 30 calendar days of indoctrination at HQ INSCOM.

Experience with Palantir software applications, JIRA, and Confluence.
DAMA International Certified Data Management Professional certification.

Responsibilities

Provide data management support using government-provided tools.
Engage the Army Intelligence Enterprise to collect data requirements.
Facilitate initial engagement and technical exchange meetings concerning data and information requirements and coordination tasks.
Research appropriate data sourcing courses of action and collaborate with discipline subject-matter experts.
Support government development of plans, policy, and operations for Army-wide strategic governance, direction, policy, plans, oversight, and guidance addressing Army data and architecture as an Intelligence Community element.
Provide customer engagement and government support for data platforms identified by the government.
Facilitate onboarding of Army data-consuming or data-providing systems with Army, DoD, and IC CDF solutions on operational domains.
Connect technical points of contact for supported systems to resolve network and firewall issues.
Execute and record tasks using an agile framework and agile tools.
Draft and maintain documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, and produce reports using text and graphics to convey complex concepts.
Follow Amentum safety, quality, and procedure-compliance requirements; complete required training and fulfill applicable safety responsibilities.
