About The Position

The Sr Data Analyst will build and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical assets for Thermo King’s customer-facing TracKing platform. The role focuses on transforming complex datasets into intuitive, actionable insights that help external customers make informed decisions. The analyst will use Tableau, SQL, and data modeling practices to deliver accurate, reliable, and maintainable dashboards, while working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
At least 6 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
Strong proficiency with Tableau, including relationships, LOD functions, and advanced visualization techniques.
Solid understanding of SQL and experience writing complex queries.
Experience with data modeling concepts and best practices.
Familiarity with ETL concepts, data integration tools, and operational data sources.
Experience working with large datasets and optimizing queries for performance.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams.
Organization and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proactive, self-motivated approach and comfort working in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards for the TracKing customer-facing platform.
Turn complex datasets into clear visualizations and analytical insights.
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into dashboard solutions.
Use Tableau relationships, LOD expressions, parameter controls, and complex calculations.
Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
Apply data modeling best practices to support scalable, reliable analytics.
Validate data accuracy and ensure dashboards present consistent, high-quality information.
Document data sources, calculations, and dashboard logic.
Troubleshoot dashboard, data pipeline, and data quality issues.
Collaborate with data engineering, product management, customer support, and other cross-functional teams.
