About The Position

CADDi is hiring a Sr. Customer Success Manager to own customer outcomes from discovery through deployment, adoption, and enterprise expansion. The role combines pre-sales, customer success, and data expertise, partnering with an Account Executive on commercial work and Forward Deployed Engineers on technical requirements beyond the configurable platform. The manager works with manufacturing customers across engineering, procurement, quality, and operations, advising stakeholders from plant-floor and operational teams through the C-suite on where AI and shared data can deliver value. The role includes identifying and modeling customer data, configuring CADDi’s AI Data Platform and workflow products, managing deployments, driving adoption, measuring business impact, and finding opportunities to expand accounts. The position is based in CADDi’s Chicago office, with 5 days per week in-office and travel stated as up to 50% in one section and 40–60% in another. Japanese and English bilingual ability is a must.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as solutions consulting, implementation, forward-deployed engineering, analytics consulting, or similar.
  • Track record of owning complex deployments end-to-end and driving measurable adoption and expansion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, from operational management to the C-suite.
  • Ability to structure messy, multi-source data into clear models that define semantics and relationships.
  • Bilingual Japanese and English ability is required.
  • Willingness to work in the Chicago office and travel; the posting states up to 50% in one section and 40–60% in another.

  • Advise customer leaders on where AI and a shared data foundation can create value and align on business success measures.
  • Identify relevant customer data, such as drawings, quotes, part records, and supplier data, and model it in the platform, involving Forward Deployed Engineers when deeper integration is needed.
  • Partner with Sales before deal close to validate value using real customer data and demonstrate an early, concrete win.
  • Own deployment plans from scoping through production and coordinate stakeholders across business units, IT, procurement, and compliance.
  • Define customer data semantics, configure the data layer, and build the Explorer configuration and plugins required for deployments, reusing existing resources where possible.
  • Deploy CADDi workflow products for user groups and shape deployments of CADDi Agent.
  • Coordinate Forward Deployed Engineers on technical gaps, including data pipelines, custom integrations, and advanced analytics.
  • Define deployment success metrics and quality standards, track results, and report progress to customers and CADDi leadership.

  • Build and deliver tailored demonstrations for prospective and existing customers.
  • Design and quantify ROI and present findings to audiences from shop-floor users to executives.
