This role is located onsite at the Old Grandad Plant, in Frankfort, KY. This role reports directly to Senior Engineering & Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in an electrical and/or controls engineering field
  • Strong electrical aptitude and experience with low voltage circuity (480V)
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Computer literate – preference to SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong technical knowledge in maintenance crafts, possesses mechanical inclination, understanding tools, various equipment
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Compliance with standard operating procedures, legal and other requirements including health and safety, fire protection, environmental, quality, security and continuous improvement programs is a requirement of the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, for driving to remote plants.
  • Must have adequate vision to take field measurements, use computers, and read drawings and maps.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred bachelor’s in electrical engineering
  • Union environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and advance the Frankfort plant’s controls and electrical capabilities to improve equipment reliability, safety, automation, and operational performance through strong technical leadership, continuous improvement, and effective execution of maintenance and capital projects.
