Requirements

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in controls, electrical engineering, robotics, automation, or hardware product development.
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Foundational knowledge of robotic systems and industrial automation.
Experience with I/O networks and machine control using PLCs.
Experience with Studio 5000, Copia, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, and/ or similar tools.
Experience with engineering change management and/or product life cycle management tools.
Strong background in software/hardware integration and product development processes.

Responsibilities

Design and development of robotic controls and electronics for InductOne and related systems.
Programming PLCs and configuring controls (drivers, sensors, etc.) to meet performance and quality requirements.
Driving technical architecture by collaborating with mechanical and software engineers.
Support the implementation of best practices for electrical/ controls change management.
Draft industrial electrical schematics, panel layouts, and corresponding BOMs.
Select and specify industrial components for electrical design.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley or similar) for machine control.
Assist in the evaluation and implementation of control systems for machine safety.
Deliver high-quality hardware releases within scope and timeline.
Coordinate with software development teams to understand and implement hardware/software interfaces.
Provide technical support for requests from operations and field teams.
Provide accurate time estimates for assigned individual tasks.
Proactively report task status, technical hurdles, and progress to the group lead.
