About The Position

Welcome to Love's! Our IT Corporate Services team is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst - SAP Procure to Pay who supports, enhances, and optimizes Love's end-to-end SAP Procure to Pay (PTP) solution as the business grows. The role analyzes complex business processes, translates requirements into sustainable SAP solutions, configures and supports SAP ECC and S/4 environments, and collaborates with business and technology teams to improve controls, reliability, data quality, and user experience. Working with a high degree of autonomy, this senior-level position leads functional analysis and solution design, supports production stability and change delivery, mentors team members, and provides clear recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. The role also evaluates and responsibly applies automation, artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, and emerging productivity tools to increase efficiency, accelerate analysis and problem resolution, improve decision support, and advance continuous improvement in accordance with established governance and security requirements.

Requirements

Eight or more years of hands-on SAP configuration experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4 environments, including Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Material Requirements Planning; SAP IS-Retail experience is preferred.
Strong end-to-end Procure to Pay business-process knowledge, including requisitioning, purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory management, receiving, invoice processing, and Accounts Payable integration.
Proven experience eliciting business requirements and converting them into high-quality, supportable SAP solutions.
Demonstrated experience solving business problems through standard configuration rather than custom development when feasible.
Strong working knowledge of master-data requirements supporting PTP processes and solutions.
Strong working knowledge of EDI integration, including transactions 850, 855, 856, and 810.
SAP Workflow, SAP Fiori or mobile application, OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, and SAP IS-Retail experience are highly desirable.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4 configuration supporting Procure to Pay.
Inventory Management, Purchasing, Material Requirements Planning, goods receipt, invoice processing, and Accounts Payable integration.
Outline-agreement management, including monthly price changes.
Purchasing pricing procedures, including discount, surcharge, freight, and Vertex tax conditions for the United States and Canada.
Third-party scenarios initiated by sales orders and export-business modeling within the SAP PTP space.
OpenText Vendor Invoice Management invoicing and related PTP processing.
EDI transactions 850, 855, 856, and 810.
Integration knowledge across SAP Project Systems, Accounts Payable, Sales and Distribution, Warehouse Management, and Vertex.
Business requirements, functional specifications, solution design, process mapping, data flows, and test-plan development.
Unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing; defect resolution; change management; and production release support.
ABAP debugging tools for accelerated problem analysis are highly desirable.
AI-enabled automation and analytics for productivity, efficiency, analysis, user experience, and continuous improvement.
Must have AI awareness to drive productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Love's end-to-end PTP processes and the SAP ECC and S/4 solutions supporting requisitioning, purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory management, goods receipt, invoice processing, and Accounts Payable integration.
Configure SAP solutions to resolve production issues, implement enhancements, and prototype new functionality, prioritizing standard configuration over unnecessary customization.
Respond promptly to production issues and user questions received through designated support channels.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve PTP processes, controls, data quality, integrations, system reliability, and user experience.
Lead process-mapping, business-requirements, and solution-design sessions with business process owners and subject matter experts.
Assess solution options and provide delivery estimates that account for business process, technology, integration, testing, and change impacts.
Design, configure, document, test, and deliver high-quality SAP solutions that meet approved business requirements.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression test plans; support defect resolution, user acceptance testing, and business validation.
Document business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and solution designs, including inputs to technical specifications when standard configuration does not meet the requirement.
Support business readiness, training, and knowledge transfer for business users and support teams.
Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Development, Integration, Security, Infrastructure, and other application teams to deliver complete solutions.
Promote approved SAP system changes through Love's established change-management and production-release processes.
Manage system issues, enhancements, and work items in Love's designated tracking tools.
Perform structured problem assessment and root-cause analysis, and communicate sustainable corrective actions.
Evaluate and responsibly apply AI-enabled capabilities, automation, and analytics to improve productivity, enhance user experience, accelerate analysis and problem resolution, and support continuous process improvement.
Mentor junior team members and share PTP functional and configuration knowledge.
Provide leadership with clear updates on team progress, delivery status, risks, and departmental or project goals.
Monitor relevant business, SAP, AI, and software-industry trends and recommend solutions for future scenarios and opportunities.
