Sr. Compliance Coordinator
About The Position
Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Compliance Coordinator to provide critical, timely administrative support to ensure compliance with certifying agencies (UL and ETL) for new and legacy chiller products. The role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with Engineers, Project Managers (PMs), and other stakeholders to transition, organize, plan, coordinate, and execute projects across the business on time and on budget. The coordinator will work at the project operational level to ensure efficient resource use and must be able to effectively manage multiple complex projects across a large geography simultaneously.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.)
- Demonstrated examples of taking initiative, problem solving skills and work ethic
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including well developed listening skills and the ability to interpret business and/or client needs
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge or interest in HVAC products and services
- PMI certifications
Responsibilities
- Be the Daikin Applied point of contact for Chillers and work directly with the certifying agencies (UL and ETL) to coordinate testing and the exchange of engineering information.
- Provide execution assistance to the Compliance Engineer, Lead Engineer or PM including but not limited to status reports, project escalation support, scheduling testing, meetings, and supporting the completion of forms and other artifacts by project participants.
- Maintain product and component agency files to ensure they are up to date, and all testing is current.
- Communicate to the appropriate Engineer or responsible person the status of the files, key dates and upcoming testing requirements to maintain compliance.
- Assist with revisions to compliance schedules: generating tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
- Monitor and coordinate the tracking of compliance issues, collaborating with the team to provide timely status updates to the business line or other interested parties.
- Coordinate end-user training, including setting up training sessions and coordinating training logistics, as applicable.
- Communicate all issues to management prior to reaching critical status.
