About The Position

The Sr. Commercial Credit Analyst operates as a self-contained credit unit within the Commercial Credit & Operations Department and reports to the Sr. Manager, Commercial Credit. The role performs and coordinates comprehensive credit, collateral, and economic reviews of financing proposals. It partners with Sales and dealers to address credit-request deficiencies and financial-statement questions, prepares accurate underwriting packages, supports Legal with document preparation, oversees funding for new flooring lines and loans, and assists the Commercial Portfolio Team with reviews and follow-up. The analyst also contributes to Commercial Credit initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of automotive finance credit analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Ability to develop credit and financial skills in an analytically challenging environment.
• Solid time management and prioritization skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of subject matter expertise in all areas supported.
• Team-oriented approach and strong interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming credit requests for completeness and work with Sales and dealers to resolve deficiencies and financial statement questions.
• Ensure financial statements and adjustments are accurately reported in Crowe Navigator.
• Complete quality underwriting packages within established time frames.
• Provide Legal with accurate information for document preparation.
• Review term sheets and loan documents for accuracy and proper execution.
• Oversee funding for new flooring lines and loans, ensuring they are accurately established in all required systems.
• Assist the Commercial Portfolio Team with annual reviews, monthly dealer reviews, financial statement entry, audit issues, and insurance follow-up.
• Contribute to Commercial Credit initiatives and process improvements.
