Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years client project management experience, including 5+ years in the payments/ financial industry
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for managing the delivery of projects in compliance with ACI policies and customer contractual commitments.
  • Lead and collaborate with a team to deliver projects of varying levels of complexity (typically between a 6–12-month duration) with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for managing multiple projects in parallel, aligned to ACI’s project methodology.
  • Facilitate communication with customers and internal departments to ensure the status of the project is clear, while effectively managing risks, issues and core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee a project from its inception through to its execution and final delivery.
  • Maintain and share schedules while monitoring the project’s budget.
  • Guide projects to successful completion within scope and budget that meets or exceeds quality standard within defined timeframes.
  • Understand all contractual commitments and ensures these are tracked with the customer.
  • Ensure project scope and baseline to ensure delivery is compliant and organizational standard change control tracking is applied.
  • Monitor the project budget, tracks any changes to the scope or schedule that may impact on the budget and provides accurate resource forecasts based on project estimated completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, agreements and proposals and ensure projects are completed within budget and defined timeframes.
  • Identify and address barriers to goal achievement.
  • Direct all aspects of projects including but not limited to research, analysis, documentation, design/development, testing, negotiation, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, deliverables, project closing and post-rollout review/audit.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are met and delivered to customers in accordance with contractual commitments.
  • Provide accurate project Estimated Time to Completion (ETC) to the revenue accounting team on a monthly basis to ensure precise revenue forecasting.
  • Establish a project governance model to ensure all relevant stakeholders are aware of project statues and assist with resolving escalations.
  • Manage project issues and risks (technical and non-technical) through identification, evaluation, tracking, communication and mediation.
  • Maintain RAID log for projects.
  • Ensure the project team is equipped with the right procedures to deliver the quality solutions needed to meet project commitments.
  • Update project management data on reporting and management systems, such as Jira and Salesforce.
  • Review and approve timecards submitted by project team members.
  • Ensure that weekly project updates are maintained and shared with both the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the relationship with customers and all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct and manage post-project evaluation to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the customer to determine the appropriate project methodology.
  • Ensures the customer is aligned with the methodology to be used for the project and the budget, scope and planning tracking is aligned prior to the project proceeding via a method adoption workshop.
  • Provide guidance to newer team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
