About The Position

This role involves investigating and managing complex claims from start to finish, evaluating liability, damages, coverage, and regulatory compliance. The representative will collaborate with various stakeholders to determine claim exposure and negotiate settlements, analyze evidence, and handle high-severity and litigated claims while maintaining strong customer service and cost containment. The position offers remote and hybrid work options, with hybrid schedules for candidates within 50 miles of an office location (West Bend, Madison, Appleton). Fully remote candidates may occasionally travel for in-person engagement.

Requirements

Experience handling commercial trucking claims
Experience handling complex bodily injury claims
Strong investigation, coverage analysis, and liability assessment skills
Proven negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience working with attorneys and litigated claims

Responsibilities

Investigate and manage complex commercial trucking and transportation claims from initial loss through resolution.
Evaluate liability, damages, coverage, and regulatory compliance issues involving commercial motor vehicles.
Collaborate with insureds, drivers, attorneys, law enforcement, expert vendors, and repair facilities to determine claim exposure and negotiate settlements.
Analyze accident reports, electronic logging data, driver records, and other evidence to support claim decisions.
Handle high-severity and litigated trucking claims while maintaining strong customer service and cost containment practices.
