Sr Business Intelligence Analyst
About The Position
Responsible for turning data into actionable information and insights to drive business and operational decisions in assigned support areas. The role works closely with operational and business leadership to understand analytics and business needs, serving as a trusted analytics delivery partner who uses available data assets to answer pertinent business questions. It enables successful adoption of analytics tools and requires advanced knowledge of healthcare operations and the key performance indicators used to support the business. The position designs, builds, tests, and implements business intelligence solutions in the existing BI environment. It develops stored procedures and reporting designs and performs report modeling, database development, administration, and automation of BI solutions. It also troubleshoots BI tools, systems, and software and performance-tunes applications as needed. Periodic on-call duty supporting these applications and services may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Five years of related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and implement business intelligence solutions.
- Design, code, test, and document new or modified BI services, applications, programs, semantic layers, metadata, reports, dashboards, and portal interfaces within the existing BI environment.
- Develop stored procedures and reporting designs; perform report modeling, database development, administration, and BI solution automation.
- Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software, and performance-tune applications as necessary.
- Work with operational and business leadership to understand analytics and business needs and provide insights using available data assets.
- Support successful adoption of analytics tools.
- Potentially provide periodic on-call support for BI applications and services.
