Sr Business Data Intelligence Analyst
About The Position
The client is seeking a senior Business Intelligence Analyst with healthcare payer and claims domain experience. The role turns data into insights, KPIs, scorecards, visualizations, and strategic recommendations for business partners. It combines advanced Power BI development and administration, advanced SQL and database work, Power Platform solutions, and integration of data from enterprise and cloud sources. The analyst will develop AI-ready semantic models and AI-assisted Power Platform solutions, including Copilot Studio solutions for agentic AI consumption. The role also involves communicating complex insights to stakeholders and providing technical leadership by mentoring junior analysts, conducting code reviews, and setting reporting standards. This is a nine-month contract-to-full-time hybrid role. Candidates must be local to the DMV area and attend in-person interviews and meetings at the Reston office every Wednesday. The interview process includes one virtual interview and one in-person interview.
Requirements
- Healthcare payer or healthcare claims domain experience.
- Advanced hands-on Power BI expertise, including complex DAX, star-schema modeling, row-level security, performance tuning, and Power BI Service administration.
- Advanced SQL and database skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, data warehouse design, and large-volume reporting.
- Power Platform experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint integration.
- Experience integrating data from AWS, Cloudera, Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, and other sources.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Creative and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
- One of the following certifications is required: Certified Business Intelligence Professional or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
- Local to the DMV area and able to attend in-person interviews and meetings at the Reston office every Wednesday.
