About The Position

The Sr Business Financial Administrator (SBFA) is responsible for providing accurate and insightful data analysis on assigned clients. This position demonstrates knowledge and experience with client proprietary systems and the planning tools of assigned clients. The incumbent must create, edit and analyze data from client’s systems and helps to prepare presentations for account calls with the Business Development Manager (BDM). This role also independently takes ownership of projects and sees them to completion by effectively coordinating all of the necessary resources. Additionally, this position creates analyses and reports to assist the BDM with planning needs and promotional trade spends.

Requirements

  • High School or GED or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in administration, customer service and/or sales accounting.
  • Previous experience as a Financial Business Administrator
  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
  • Analytical and research Skills
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to create/write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Possess the technical ability to efficiently present information and to respond to questions from groups of Managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Working knowledge of Syndicated Date (Circana/IRI or Nielsen)
  • Available for travel 20-30% of the time
  • Must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Also need to maintain the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create and change promotional trade deals in client systems and works directly with the BDM
  • Use historical data to accurately forecast promotional trade plans
  • Assist BDM with new item presentations and account calls
  • Accurately reconcile event in client’s proprietary system and analyze spends with BDM
  • Support and resolve administrative activities by maintaining communication flow and serving as liaison to Business Manager
  • Assist Business Financial Administrator as necessary on researching and clearing of deductions
  • Client and Customer Interaction; understanding and communication of policies and procedures
