About The Position

This role is for a Sr. Business Development professional focusing on the Beauty and Healthcare sectors, with a specific emphasis on Gillette. The position involves a 70/30 split between hunting for new business and farming existing accounts. The company is a technology and engineering firm providing research and development services.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
  • Around 15-20 years of significant experience in account management or business development within the process / Beauty / Baby / Feminine & Family care industry, preferably with exposure to plant engineering and technology services.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
  • 15+ years experience
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for identified strategic accounts/clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Identifying new opportunities within accounts, establishing C-level contacts/relationships, developing proposals, and leading negotiations to secure new contracts.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their strategic objectives and aligning services to support those goals.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensuring invoices are generated and submitted to customers and money collected in time.
  • Time to time reporting and tracking of the revenue, pipeline, and pursuits.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, challenges, and competitors to provide clients with innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge.
