Beauty Advisor - Business Development Representative

We supply products to many of the nation's leading retail chains, independent retailers, e-commerce businesses, and commercial projects. We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused professional to join our team as a Business Development Representative. This is an onsite position offering an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven individual to build a career in the furniture and lighting industry while enjoying a predictable business-hours schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales role with quota or performance-based goals.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience in retail sales, inside sales, customer service sales, or business development is highly preferred.
- Retail sales professionals with a demonstrated track record of driving revenue and building customer relationships are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in furniture, lighting, home furnishings, or related industries is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Qualify prospective customers and distribute leads to the appropriate sales team members.
- Lead outbound prospecting efforts through phone calls, email campaigns, and follow-up communications.
- Monitor inbound inquiries and ensure timely lead response and distribution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
- Support the sales team in managing, maintaining, and growing existing accounts.
- Coordinate with customer service, operations, and sales teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare freight quotes and assist customers with order-related inquiries.
- Monitor inventory availability and communicate product information to customers and sales representatives.
- Enter and maintain lead and customer information within company databases and CRM platforms, including Mailchimp.
- Assist with sales and marketing initiatives designed to generate new business opportunities.
