About The Position

ZipStaff is hiring a Sr Business Analyst for a major Midwest utility. The role is embedded in a Customer Solutions digital product team as an Agile business analyst, partnering with Product Owners, business stakeholders, technology, UX, QA, and vendors to move work from discovery through implementation.

Requirements

5 or more years of experience with IT systems or projects, including Business Analyst experience.
3 or more years of experience in a customer-service-oriented and/or IT-related field.
3 or more years of experience in Agile software development.
Hands-on experience with Zephyr Scale, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
Strong analytical, facilitation, process-mapping, and written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with web and Salesforce CRM implementations or product delivery.
Experience testing customer-facing web and mobile applications.
Experience with API or integration testing.
Familiarity with accessibility, cross-browser, responsive, and mobile-device testing.
Experience leveraging AI or GenAI tools.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, document, and clarify business and functional requirements with Product Owners and stakeholders.
Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and refinement discussions.
Develop and maintain process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting delivery artifacts.
Serve as the business analyst point of contact for an Agile product team through planning, development, testing, and implementation.
Identify requirements gaps, cross-system dependencies, risks, and downstream impacts.
Develop and maintain detailed manual test scripts and support functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
