The Opportunity This position works out of our Columbus, OH location in the Nutrition Division. The Sr. Brand Manager is responsible for the development, management, and execution of strategies and tactical programs to effectively achieve commercialization, profit margin and business plan objectives for assigned product(s). Additional responsibilities include long-term equity management, business strategic planning, pricing, forecasting, AP&G budget management, financial and project management.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals.
  • 5-7 years of Marketing experience (product/brand management, consumer packaged goods and/or healthcare professional), or 8-10 years Sales experience including 1+ years in Marketing.
  • 2-3 years staff management and staff development experience.
  • Advanced level PC skills to include Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership and success in project management
  • Financial and budget management experience and skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic business plans.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills including experience with financial models.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA strongly preferred due to the business complexity and strategic focus of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead marketing strategy to maintain and grow brand share in hospitals.
  • Support the strategic execution and evolution of new digital CRM platform for healthcare professionals within the hospital.
  • Manage the strategy and execution of our hospital contracts, 2 oz business, inclusive of launch plans and execution with KPI management, from hospital initiation to birth model / feeding share
  • Own the strategy development and execution for Similac Tri-Blend, inclusive of performance measurement & tracking
  • Responsible for driving Hospital P&L including but not limited to hospital contract strategy, execution, performance measurement & trend analysis as well as custom feeding system management
  • Lead and manage NICU Innovation projects
  • Present product and marketing programs to senior leadership
  • Determine and manage the allocation of product budget to maximize ROI.
  • Manage the development of marketing and sales aid/promotional materials for Field Sales to effectively promote and sell the product.
  • Manage promotional materials to establish product branding and messaging.
  • Oversee the development of competitive selling tools for the field, which includes the coordination of internal marketing research and market claims testing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives. These groups include external customers and consumers, Field Sales, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Logistics, Public Affairs, Marketing and Executive Management and external vendors or agencies.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team both directly and indirectly through cross-functional team/project leadership
