LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The National Olympic and Paralympic Committee Services (NCS) Team aims to engage, empower, and support National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) in the preparation and planning of the most seamless, innovative, and engaging Games experience ever for their athletes, team officials, and delegation members. NCS is organized into two key workstreams: Relations & Planning and Services and Operations. These two workstreams create a trusted and impactful client-centered cross-functional team which delivers the opportunities, channels, and support required for NOCs and NPCs to successfully engage with LA28, and to prepare to bring their athletes and delegations to the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The NCS team is also charged with the creation and management of a range of critical programs and services in accordance with LA28, IOC (International Olympic Committee), and IPC (International Paralympic Committee) guidelines in the lead-up to and throughout the Games-time period including workshops, seminars, reporting, and operation centers. The Sr. Associate, Central Operations (NCS Services & Operations) plays a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of NCS services, with a primary focus on delivering high-quality pre-Games meetings, events, and client engagement initiatives. This individual operates as a highly organized event and project manager, responsible for ensuring that all operational elements - from logistics and communications to stakeholder alignment are seamlessly executed. Through structured planning and attention to detail, the role directly contributes to the consistent, professional delivery of critical NCS touchpoints with NOCs and NPCs. Reporting to the NCS Services and Operations Manager, the Sr. Associate works closely with NOC/NPC Relations & Planning, cross-functional internal teams, and external stakeholders as a key connector across these groups, driving clear communication, coordinating priorities, and ensuring alignment on timelines, deliverables, and expectations. By managing tools, trackers, and communication channels, this individual enables effective collaboration and helps translate complex operational requirements into well-executed outcomes. This position is critical to the overall success of NCS services delivery, both in the lead-up to and during Games-time. The Sr. Associate delivers projects that cultivate operational readiness, supports the execution of high-visibility events and services, and helps maintain a high standard of client experience. Their ability to manage multiple workstreams, anticipate needs, and communicate effectively underpins the reliability and impact of NCS central operations, making them an essential contributor to delivering a seamless and successful Games experience.
