About The Position

This position assists in the design, development, and testing of software applications, resolving day-to-day incidents to ensure the integrity of provided services. The role involves consuming, transforming, and updating data between systems using integration software. The developer will consult with business partners to identify and define software application needs, analyze change requests, and make recommendations for designs that meet client specifications. Additionally, the role requires creating documentation for program definition, development, and business requirements, including software objectives, deliverables, and end-user specifications. This position also involves mentoring and providing technical direction to other IT staff, ensuring smooth system maintenance and meeting SLAs. The developer will write, translate, and code software programs, prepare system and infrastructure diagrams, and train end-users on new programs and tools. Reporting on assignment status to management and team members is also a key responsibility. The role requires working independently to stay updated on technological advances and adhering to IT procedures and standards, including providing proper documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Business or a closely related field
Four years of experience in software programming.
Requires the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external business partners at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature.
Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.
Requires a very high level of computer skills in order to use various software packages as well as a familiarity with hardware configuration.
Need to be proficient in MS Office Tools.

Responsibilities

Assists in the design and development and testing of software applications.
Resolves day-to-day incidents to assure the integrity of the services being provided.
Consume, transform and update data between two or more systems using Integration software.
Consults with business partner to identify and define software applications needs.
Analyzes requests for changes, updates or modifications to new or existing software applications and makes recommendations for designs to meet client specifications.
Consults with business partners to create documentation relating to the program definition, development, business requirements.
Assists, mentors, and provides technical direction, leadership, guidance and support for Applications Developers and other IT staff, helps in smooth maintenance of the system and meet SLA’s to provide data to the users.
Writes, translates, and codes software programs and applications according to specifications and end user requirements.
Prepares system, context and infrastructure diagrams needed in application development and analysis.
Trains end users to operate new or modified programs, reporting tools and analytics.
Prepares and writes reports for management and/or team members on the status of assignments.
Works with end users regarding systems analysis, general systems design and detail systems design.
Works independently to keeps abreast of new and changing technological advances in program languages, utilities, tools, and client/server technology to assure achievement of optimum results.
Follow the IT procedures and naming conventions guidance.
Provide proper documentation as required by IT standards.
