About The Position

Armison Tech is seeking an experienced Applications Developer to support and lead web design, development, production, testing, and troubleshooting projects of medium to high complexity. You will perform mission-critical work across 8 separate newly developing systems, and be part of a larger program that maintains and performs O&M on 28 current systems. You will assist your team in providing full software buildouts to include front and back-end systems, as well as sub-system components. This role is located in Herndon, VA, in an on-site client environment and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Requirements

  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience with development languages such as Maven, Java, NodeJS, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, Yaml, XML, XSL, AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery, SQL, and Python.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing JavaScript (JS), and working with others on the team utilizing primarily JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated experience applying usability and accessibility standards, user research, and user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience performing regression and Unit Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience working with key stakeholders to define requirements and expectations for new software applications.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience adding new features, optimizing, scaling, or improving stability and performance applications.
  • Experience developing software in a low-code or no-code environment.
