About The Position

TCG, a B Corp government contractor, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead/Senior Application Developer with strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerApps to join their dynamic team in anticipation of an upcoming award. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing solutions using PowerApps, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure Cloud Services. As a Senior Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving agile development practices, establishing coding best practices, and contributing to the implementation of DevOps in their environment. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. This is a short-term (3-6 month), full-time position with a remote possibility of extension. US Citizenship is required, and the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day. This is a remote position, but the selected applicant must live within commuting distance of Washington, D.C. for potential on-site presence in extreme circumstances.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Lead Developer in Microsoft technologies.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dataverse, PowerApps, and Azure Cloud Services.
Experience with cloud-based identity and access management service (i.e. Microsoft Entra, Azure Active Directory (AAD)).
Experience with point estimation techniques and project planning.
Knowledge of DevOps principles and implementation in an Azure environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
US citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline, or the equivalent in years of experience.

Responsibilities

Utilize advanced knowledge of PowerApps, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure Cloud Services to architect and implement robust solutions.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in Microsoft technologies and recommend their adoption when applicable.
Serve a lead role in the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft-based solutions.
Facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, enabling automated and secure software deployment.
Drive agile development methodologies within the team.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Lead the estimation process, providing accurate and timely point estimates for development efforts.
Contribute to the implementation of DevOps practices in an Azure environment.
Collaborate with security and operations teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
Work closely as part of a cross-functional team, including QA, product management, and business analysts.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical insights.
