About The Position

SpaceX’s application software team builds mission-critical applications used throughout the company to accelerate launch vehicle production and flight, and to support Starlink’s growth. For manufacturing systems, the team is creating and evolving software that enables rapid Starship production and reuse and developing next-generation manufacturing software for high-throughput Starlink factories. The team also develops data platforms and customer-facing applications, working closely with engineers across SpaceX as missions, vehicles, and the Starlink network evolve. The role offers ownership of challenging software and product-development problems, from prototyping and design through implementation. The engineer collaborates with teammates on architecture, design, and code reviews and works directly to understand users’ needs and deliver efficient, reliable solutions. Aerospace experience is not required. The position must be performed onsite; remote and hybrid work are not considered.
