About The Position

Providing managerial and technical support of US Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Tactical Command & Control (TAC-C2) projects, especially for JREAP-C Network Engineering and FMS in Eastern Europe for Marine Domain Awareness (MDA) projects. Briefing high-level members of various international organizations, including United States European Command (EUCOM), US Embassy Offices of Defense Coordination (ODCs), and foreign Ministries of Defense (MODs). Managing and supporting engineers who provide network, systems, MDA, and Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) in-person. Providing remote engineering technical assistance. Coordinating technical, logistic, and procurement solutions for C4I sensors and sites along on the Black Sea coast to improve multilateral Common Operational Picture (COP). Redesigning and modernizing IT Network in support of FMS projects, including providing for robust redundancy, security, and scalability to the network architecture. Developing and executing JREAP-C Tech Refresh (TR) and Redesign Validation Test events. Conducting System Operability Verification Testing (SOVT) of shore and ship sites. Providing consistent and timely reach-back support for any technical issues with networks and systems. This position is contingent upon funding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
  • 15 years of Technical Experience with IT and/or C4I
  • 10 years’ experience with NIWC Pacific and PMW-740
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Familiarity with PMW-740 and PMW-101 Program Offices
  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP
  • U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hardware technologies such as ELLINT Systems, COMINT Systems, Mobile Ad Hoc Networking
  • Familiarization with US FMS, FMF and BPC programs implemented through MILGRPs
  • Familiarity with the organization, function and authorities exercised overseas to build partner capacity by COCMs and their Component Commanders.
