About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst on the FSS FP&A team partners closely with business and finance leaders to own SG&A OpEx, with a strong focus on headcount and workforce planning. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, close, and analytics for assigned BUs, delivering clear insights, accurate forecasts, and proactive risks and opportunities. The analyst serves as a trusted advisor, builds scalable financial models, supports the adoption of new technologies (e.g., Power BI and planning tool implementations), and continuously improves processes while fostering collaboration, inclusion, and a culture of excellence. In addition to core FP&A responsibilities, this role will support digital finance initiatives across reporting, forecasting, and performance management. The Analyst will collaborate with Finance Transformation, IT, and Data teams to enhance FP&A tools, improve data quality, and assist in automating processes. This role will also contribute to expanding self-service analytics capabilities to better support business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel and Data Analytics tools (Intermediate-level Power BI skills, SQL a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite [Advanced Excel (power query, power pivot a plus), Proficient PowerPoint, SharePoint & Outlook].
  • Experience working (user/super user) with FP&A systems – NetSuite ERP, SAP ERP, SAC.
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience.
  • Clear/strong understanding of financial statements and relevant accounting principles.
  • Experience with generating management reports and SG&A budgeting/forecasting.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and timely follow-up.
  • Solid data literacy, with the ability to evaluate data quality, consistency, and usability.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with interest in simplifying and digitizing finance processes.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a good working relations /rapport with BU and BU finance leadership (VPs/Directors).
  • Strives to understand assigned BUs business/operations, with an objective to become the go-to person that BU leaders call/lean on for input & insights on headcount and SG&A line items.
  • Develops and maintains various financial models to support BUs decision-making related to headcount and OPEX.
  • Responsible for preparing periodic close files/packages.
  • Responsible for workforce planning – headcount and employee cost budgeting.
  • Strives to solicit & consolidate new information from different/all sources and systems to update forecast with an aim to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Proactively builds / calls out risks and opportunities (R&O).
  • Manages annual planning processes communicating targets, creating budgets, professionally handling BUs requests (bottom up).
  • Responsible for getting your assigned BUs master data/org changes/reporting dimensions updated / keep current.
  • Thinks on your feet to troubleshoot issues (system, process), most efficient way to compile required data/dimensions/timeline for ad hoc asks, prioritizes BUs asks professionally.
  • Leverages Data/analytics tools (e.g. Power BI) and techniques to efficiently phaseout legacy excel bases files/reports/models.
  • Assists with other ad-hoc analytics, projects, and requests.
  • Open to learning and asking for guidance.
  • Supports the adoption, standardization, and continuous improvement of FP&A processes.
  • Assists in gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Contributes to the development and enhancement of FP&A reporting using FDP, Power BI, and enterprise tools.
  • Identifies opportunities to automate recurring processes (e.g., forecasting support, variance reporting, distribution of reports) and helps with implementation.
  • Leverages AI-enabled finance tools (e.g., Copilot) responsibly to improve efficiency, insight generation, and overall productivity.
  • Delivers FP&A support to Business Unit Finance and Operations in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Works independently while maintaining regular communication with operations to provide context and insights behind analyses.
  • Contributes to transformation initiatives by supporting projects, generating improvement ideas, and helping advance a more automated, scalable, and insight-driven FP&A environment.
