About The Position

The Walt Disney Studios Media and Marketing team is seeking a Sr Analyst, Marketing Data Product to join the Performance Marketing arm. This integrated, cross-functional team consists of marketers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts who collaborate to execute highly data-driven marketing campaigns for theatrical, streaming, and brand campaigns. The Sr Analyst will facilitate the delivery of the product roadmap, focusing on tools for campaign optimization and operations. This role is embedded within the Disney marketing organization, offering the freedom to move fast and innovate. The position involves tackling the challenges of executing precise paid media strategies using the latest technologies in the data/tech space.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related work experience in Data Engineering/Analytics, Ad Tech/Media Analytics, or technical Product Management
  • Working knowledge of how APIs function, including experience reading documentation, sending requests, and interpreting responses
  • Knowledge of ad platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, Innovid, The Trade Desk, and similar
  • Experience with workflow tracking tools such as Airtable
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
  • A familiarity with SQL and working with complex datasets
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
  • Familiarity with the Python programming language or the Spark framework
  • Experience working with data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
  • Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking, and implementation

Responsibilities

  • Build, refine, and maintain product roadmap for a suite of Performance Marketing tools focusing on paid media operations and optimization
  • Write and approve technical user stories for software engineers on our internal team; coordinate efforts between different groups to execute roadmap strategy
  • Collaborate with software engineers to execute improvements to existing processes and tools (and innovate by creating new ones)
  • Ensure that existing media analytics tools, platforms, processes, and dashboards continue to deliver value for our campaigns; write SQL queries and run Python and/or Spark scripts to verify data quality and uncover bugs
  • Create Airtable processes that allow us to automate key media workflows
  • Facilitate any work with UX/UI teams on requirements for wireframes and design elements; translate functional requirements to software engineers
  • Leverage AI and LLMs to get out of your comfort zone – you will build your own prototypes and tools in collaboration with the broader team
