About The Position

The Senior Analyst, International Supply Chain Partnerships supports Chipotle’s international franchised and licensed restaurant business through procurement, supply chain coordination, logistics support, supplier onboarding, and operational readiness. This role partners with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to help ensure international markets have the suppliers, processes, inventory flow, and execution support required to launch and operate restaurants in line with Chipotle standards.

Requirements

  • BA/BS (MBA a plus) and 3–5 years in strategic sourcing/procurement
  • Strong Excel/PowerPoint; solid data/financial analysis; excellent communication and negotiation; track/report value
  • End-to-end procurement (spend analysis, opportunity ID, RFI/RFP, stakeholder management, contracting)
  • Supplier onboarding and relationship management; ensure supply continuity
  • Cross-functional coordination to drive market readiness and new market/restaurant openings; commitment to Food With Integrity

Responsibilities

  • Support procurement and supply chain workstreams for international franchised and licensed restaurant markets.
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding, item setup, and market-specific sourcing solutions for new and existing international markets.
  • Support import/export, freight, customs, and logistics coordination in partnership with internal teams, partners, and third-party providers.
  • Track supply chain readiness for market entries and new restaurant openings, including critical path milestones, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Analyze product availability, lead times, landed cost, inventory flow, and supplier performance to identify operational risks and opportunities.
  • Help evaluate local, regional, and global suppliers against Chipotle requirements for quality, capacity, service, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with Culinary, FSQA, Ops, Marketing, and external partners to support product commercialization and ongoing supply continuity.
  • Prepare recurring reporting and materials on supplier performance, cost movements, logistics issues, and market readiness.
  • Support issue resolution for shortages, service failures, substitutions, and supply disruptions affecting international partner restaurants.
  • Maintain documentation, trackers, SOPs, and process tools supporting international partner supply chain execution.
  • Interface with cross functional areas, including Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Culinary, and third party partnership team members to meet program deliverables and cost targets.
  • With Manager, develop and implement strategy for effective supplier pool base for international direct and indirect procurement.
  • For assigned projects: participate in planning meetings and product evaluations with all stakeholders and recommend potential changes.
  • Perform category analysis, assisting in development of strategies, presenting to stakehodlers, and implementing to minimize supply chain risk.
  • Gain and demonstrate knowledge on underlying supply markets and understand impacts.
  • Identify and put in place appropriate SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) interventions including supplier management activities around supplier reviews.
  • Keep a watchful eye on the market, environment and the changing needs of the business and identify when action is needed in response to any change in a category.
  • Assist in managing stakeholder and 3rd party partnership relationships.
  • Assist in forecasting and demand planning for our partnership markets.
