This role will lead all supply chain activities and processes for the plant/operations unit, define the plant supply chain strategy and translate into action plans based on plant/operations unit, BA SCM and Group strategy. The Sr Supply Chain Analyst will set plant/operations unit specific SCM standards and requirements towards external and internal contacts and ensure implementation based on BA SCM and Group standards. They will implement and monitor BA and CT specific policies, procedures, and standards for SCM, and initiate and manage plant/operations unit SCM optimization measurements to improve the efficiency, reliability, and cost situation in cross-functional teams. This role will also contribute to strategic, budget and operative planning of the plant/operations unit (e.g. with respect to investments, inventory, SCM costs, capacity and headcount planning), define SCM plant/operation’s unit targets and ensure the achievement under consideration of internal and external customer expectations and contribution. The Sr Supply Chain Analyst will initiate and implement continuous improvement activities by applying CBS methods and training measures, and initiate and control investments for supply chain equipment (e.g. fork trucks). This role serves as an interface to segment, BA functions to gather local supply chain requirements, demands and other feedback, and represents the plant/operations unit towards internal and external contacts regarding SCM topics (i.e. process requirements). The Sr Supply Chain Analyst will initiate, participate in and/or steer local supply chain related and cross-functional projects, participate actively in the activities of environmental health and safety, lead change management in plant/operations unit SCM, and ensure compliance in plant/operations unit SCM. This role also involves conducting employee dialogues, personnel development, and coaching.

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelors degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or minimum 10 years or more if no relevant Bachelors Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
