About The Position

This role is responsible for financial analysis of Operations cost and reporting across the global business for Duties, SGA. This individual will be a key member of the Operations Finance team, interacting with Finance, Procurement and Commercial teams. The Senior SC Finance Analyst will take a lead role in driving data effectiveness, ensure adequate forecasting and planning activities. Please note that this role requires onsite presence five days per week, Monday through Friday. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of finance experience
  • Critical thinking and strategic mindset
  • FP&A Senior role or Operations finance experience
  • Presentation Skills (Oral and Written / PPT)
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Ability to work with a multicultural team in different time zones
  • BA/BS degree required in finance, accounting, business or related field
  • Strong Team player
  • Demonstrated ability to meet work and project deadlines producing high quality output
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Work with broad finance team and develop weekly and monthly financial close activities, including planning, forecasting, and reporting focused on global Duty and SGA cost
  • Help Business Units understand duty cost on material level
  • Proven ability to work independently and ability to present results to senior business partners – you influence the decisions. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult and show the business how decisions affect costs in their sites.
  • Help Procurement and Global Trade Compliance team identify issues / opportunities to be more cost effective.
  • Expertise in collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful analysis
  • Partner with Procurement Operations, IT and Supply Chain teams on daily basis
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results, driving projects focused on efficiency and simplification
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis. An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes and digitize them
  • Ability to think at both the strategic and implementation level – to think big while also diving deep
  • Improve alignment on global data and accuracy while ensuring alignment with Digital strategies including M-ERP, MES, and other digital tools.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and internal Momentive financial policies.
