About The Position

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors in April 2025 as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years! Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. Our advanced hospital will offer 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, onsite 550-car parking garage, and a helipad for emergency transport. Much more is available at: https://cedarhillregional.com/ We are currently seeking a Sr. Admissions Representative (Full-Time, Day/Evening) The Sr Admissions Rep/Registrar is responsible for facilitating an efficient, professional, and effective registration process through the attainment of demographic and financial information via face-to-face registration that is pertinent to appropriate reimbursement and statistical analysis. The individual is responsible for maintaining complete and accurate accounts to ensure data base integrity and timely claims processing. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • 2-5 years of problem-solving experience demonstrated in a Customer Service environment (preferably healthcare or insurance) or Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of problem-solving experience demonstrated in a Customer Service environment (preferably healthcare or insurance)
  • Computer/keyboard skills required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Effective communications skills, both verbal and written
