About The Position

Provide administrative support to Dean of Administration and Campus Services. This role involves day-to-day office operations, including greeting visitors, managing inquiries, maintaining records, answering phones, and delivering excellent customer service. The position also supports various special events, activities, assignments, and projects.

Requirements

  • Must be extremely accurate and have excellent proofreading, grammar and spelling skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, be flexible with good public relations skills, work well with details and deadlines, balance multiple tasks, analyze and solve problems and work independently in a fast-paced office environment
  • Basic skill level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of office, clerical or administrative support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job

Nice To Haves

  • One year of specialized or technical training beyond high school
  • One or more years in a higher education environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for the office by greeting visitors, addressing inquiries, and assisting with general office operations.
  • Manage the front desk, maintain records, answer phones, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Assist with various special events, activities, assignments, and projects.
  • Enter Employee Personnel Actions Forms (EPAFs), TechSupport, and Maintenance Requests for transferring employees.
  • Complete budget reports and budget transfers.
  • Assist with the auction process.
  • Prepare and process requisitions and invoices as needed and perform Banner entry via several banner programs.
  • Maintain building and room data in Banner.
  • Submit Maintenance Requests for campus-related needs.
  • Process P-card statements and maintain P-card records and expenditures.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, hotel, and parking reimbursements.
  • Support department operations and special projects.
  • Order inventory supplies and submit expenses.
  • Coordinate facilities for classroom use, including maintenance requests.
  • Support campus services and open gym, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
