About The Position

Senior Accountant Role Summary The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Controllership team and is responsible for supporting the Company’s month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. This role ensures the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and contributes to audit readiness, SOX compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced public company environment and/or public accounting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial close processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel

Nice To Haves

• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• Experience with Workday ERP is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Support the close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform detailed quarterly and annual P&L and balance sheet reviews, including flux and root-cause analysis
• Evaluate and determine appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions and vendor arrangements
• Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of audit schedules and coordination with auditors
• Participate in and support SOX compliance activities, including execution of key controls, documentation, and remediation efforts as needed
• Collaborate with offshore accounting teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of accounting activities
• Assist in strengthening accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation as the Company scales
• Provide support to cross-functional Finance teams as needed to meet reporting and operational requirements
