About The Position

AdFarm is seeking a Sr Account Manager to join their team and drive the evolution of agriculture. They serve as a bridge between farmers and the brands that serve them, offering services such as strategic planning, creative services, public relations, media planning, marketing science, content creation, and research. AdFarm partners with a variety of clients in the crop protection, nutrition, seed, technology, sustainability, food, and animal health sectors. The role requires individuals who are agile, smart, and helpful, ready to deliver excellent work on time and on budget while maintaining strong client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in professional client relationship management.
  • A solid background in advertising, communications, design, or marketing.
  • Agency experience is a MUST.
  • The ability to plan advertising for the Agriculture Industry.
  • Proven ability to manage a Client Budget Control Report, including forecasting and monthly invoicing.
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective team management capabilities.
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints.
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques, including digital platforms.
  • The willingness to note relevant trends and develop ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for organic growth.
  • Oversee annual budgeting and forecasting for client accounts.
  • Understand client needs and bridge the gap between creative and client to develop successful solutions.
  • Gather client briefs and engage with AdFarm's Ag-Intel or strategy team for strategic development and resource planning.
  • Collaborate with the Account Director to develop strategic plans for projects and campaigns, including future checkpoints.
  • Develop integrated client communications plans based on recommendations from various disciplines (creative, PR, digital, media, strategy hub, PM), ensuring consistency with creative briefs, client requirements, budget, and timelines.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with the Marketing Data Science Analyst and client, establish measurement goals, track progress, and report results.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining a high sense of urgency and nurturing client relationships and opportunities.
  • Strategically identify current and future client service requirements by building rapport with clients.
  • Stay informed about industry issues, technologies, and opportunities, leveraging information from the Strategy hub.
  • Participate in industry events.
  • Manage Statements of Work (SOW), budgets, and project timelines when a Project Manager is not assigned.
  • Attend internal project review meetings representing the client and provide feedback to the internal resource team.
  • Take meeting notes, relay relevant information from client meetings to the internal team via the project management tool.
  • Confirm estimate approvals before project kick-offs.
  • Partner with Strategist and Project Management to ensure adherence to the scope of work.
  • Conduct project post-mortems with the Account Director and client to gauge customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the Client Budget Control Report, including forecasting and monthly invoicing.
  • Assist the Project Manager with the day-to-day development of advertising activities, ensuring progressive stages are approved and reporting any changes to the Director of Client Service.
  • Acquire knowledge of the client's business to anticipate marketing and advertising problems and opportunities.
  • Complete annual Strategic Account Plans for assigned clients with support from the Director of Client Service.
  • Lead strategy and planning meetings.
  • Proofread copy, proofs, and other media for accuracy as the final quality control step before client submission.
