Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in professional client relationship management.
  • A solid background in advertising, communications, design, or marketing.
  • Agency experience is a MUST.
  • The ability to plan advertising for the Agriculture Industry.
  • Proven ability to manage a Client Budget Control Report, including forecasting and monthly invoicing.
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective team management capabilities.
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints.
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques, including digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Understand client needs and bridge the gap between creative and client to achieve successful solutions.
  • Gather client briefs and engage AdFarm's Ag-Intel or strategy team for strategic development and resource planning.
  • Collaborate with the Account Director to develop strategic plans for projects and campaigns, including future checkpoints.
  • Write briefs, review with the Strategist, and collect necessary assets or specifications.
  • Develop integrated client communications plans with the Account Director, based on recommendations from creative, PR, digital, media, strategy, and PM teams, ensuring consistency with the creative brief, client requirements, budget, and timelines.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with the Marketing Data Science Analyst and client, establish measurement goals, track progress, and report results, leading reiteration of KPIs if required.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining a high sense of urgency, nurturing client relationships, and identifying opportunities for AdFarm.
  • Strategically identify current and future client service requirements by building rapport and stronger relationships with clients.
  • Stay informed about industry issues, technologies, and opportunities, leveraging information from the Strategy hub.
  • Participate in industry events.
  • Manage Statements of Work (SOW), budgets, and project timelines when a Project Manager is not assigned.
  • Attend internal project review meetings, representing the client and providing feedback and next steps to the internal resource team.
  • Take meeting notes with clients, relaying and deciphering relevant information to the internal team through the project management tool.
  • Confirm estimate approvals before project kick-offs.
  • Partner with Strategists and Project Management to ensure adherence to the scope of work.
  • Conduct project post-mortems with the Account Director and potentially the client to gauge customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the Client Budget Control Report, including forecasting and monthly invoicing.
  • Assist the Project Manager with the day-to-day development of advertising activities, ensuring progressive stages are approved on time and reporting any changes to the Director of Client Service.
  • Acquire knowledge of the client's business to anticipate marketing and advertising problems and opportunities.
  • Complete an annual "Strategic Account Plan" for each assigned client with support from the Director of Client Service.
  • Lead strategy and planning meetings.
  • Proofread copy, proofs, and other media for accuracy as the final line of Quality Control before client submission.
