About The Position

This is a high-visibility opportunity for a SQL-focused Database Administrator who enjoys working with data, reporting, and business intelligence. You’ll play a key role in supporting enterprise data needs, building meaningful reports, and improving how teams access and use information—with the opportunity to convert into a long-term role. This position is based in the Tampa Bay area and works closely with local business and technical teams.

Requirements

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a DBA or advanced SQL development role.
Proven ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy.
Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting reporting for CRM or enterprise business applications.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting automation.
Experience creating SOPs, documentation, and end-user training materials.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity.
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures.
Create and manage databases and tables to support data warehousing, real-time, and historical reporting needs.
Monitor database performance and work with vendors or internal partners to ensure systems meet performance standards.
Implement data validation, quality checks, and auditing processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and SQL-based data sources.
Support enterprise reporting needs, including monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end processes.
Partner with business teams to define KPIs, metrics, and data requirements.
Perform advanced data analysis to translate raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Archive historical data and reporting outputs in accordance with data governance standards.
Support data and reporting needs for enterprise systems, including CRM and ticketing platforms.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on system enhancements, integrations, and reporting changes.
Assist with system documentation, SOPs, and technical knowledge transfer.
Identify risks, data issues, or reporting gaps and communicate findings clearly to leadership.
