The role is exempt from minimum wage and overtime regulations under Washington State wage and hour law. The YMCA offers membership to the YMCA of Greater Seattle, free access to mental health resources, rapidly accruing paid time off, access to a large organic garden, and a positive, growth-oriented community of coworkers. Some benefits are available only to full-time staff. The YMCA is committed to equity, inclusion, and removing institutional and systemic barriers. Employees are expected to follow YMCA policies and procedures and abuse-prevention requirements, including maintaining appropriate boundaries, completing training, reporting suspicious or inappropriate behavior, and complying with mandated-reporting requirements. Job offers are contingent on a background check; the YMCA participates in the Federal E-Verify system.
