About The Position

The Sprayer I applies the final coats of stain, lacquer, and other finishes to furniture. The position follows work orders and finish schedules, using a spray gun to apply the required finishes and colors. The employee must follow all safety policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist throughout the day.
• Must be able to perform frequent repetitive motions involving grasping, pushing or pulling, and fine hand manipulation.
• Must frequently reach at, above, or below shoulder level.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and, rarely, up to 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous finishing experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow work-order instructions for the finish required on each product.
• Use a spray gun to apply finish to products.
• Follow the finish schedule and color panel through the process from start to finish.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
