About The Position

The Sprayer I applies final coats of stain, lacquer, and other finishes to furniture. The position follows work orders, finish schedules, and color panels to complete the finishing process, while complying with all safety policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist throughout the day.
• Must frequently perform repetitive motions requiring grasping, pushing or pulling, and fine hand manipulation.
• Must frequently reach at, above, or below shoulder level.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and, rarely, up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous finishing experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow work-order instructions for the finish required on each product.
• Use a spray gun to apply finish to products.
• Follow the finish schedule and color panel through the finishing process.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
