About The Position

Kaloutas is seeking a Fireproofing Sprayer / Applicator to join their team. This role involves applying fire-resistant materials to structural components of commercial buildings throughout New England. The company is open to training individuals with experience in related fields such as paint spraying, spray foam insulation, specialty coatings, or general construction.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in fireproofing, commercial painting, spray foam insulation, specialty coatings, or construction
Experience operating spray equipment is a plus
OSHA-10 certification, or willingness to obtain it
Basic understanding of construction and job-site safety
Ability to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work on your feet and lift/move equipment throughout the workday
Willingness to travel to job sites throughout New England
A strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

Apply spray-applied fireproofing materials to structural beams, columns, decks, and other building components
Operate fireproofing pumps, paint pumps, mixers, hoses, and related equipment
Set up, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
Apply materials to the required thickness while minimizing overspray and material waste
Work safely from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding
Read plans, specifications, and spray charts as needed
Perform quality checks to ensure proper coverage, thickness, and adhesion
Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and job-ready
Work alongside a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and with pride
