About The Position

We are seeking skilled and experienced Fireproofing Sprayers and Installers to support a project at the INEOS Phenol facility in Theodore, Alabama. The role involves applying fireproofing materials and working with fireproofing systems in an industrial environment. Candidates may also work with rolling, shaping, and installing carbon fiber mesh as part of fireproofing applications.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fireproofing Sprayer, Fireproofing Installer, or in a similar industrial coating or fireproofing role.
• Experience operating fireproofing spray equipment.
• Ability to read and follow project specifications and safety requirements.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of fireproofing application methods and materials.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check per site requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, safety glasses, hard hats, and protective clothing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience handling and installing carbon fiber mesh.
• Experience working in industrial or plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply fireproofing materials using spray equipment in accordance with project specifications.
• Prepare surfaces for fireproofing application.
• Operate and maintain fireproofing spray equipment safely and efficiently.
• Roll, cut, shape, and install carbon fiber mesh for fireproofing systems.
• Follow all site-specific safety requirements and procedures.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work with supervisors and team members to complete project objectives.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
