About The Position

FanDuel is hiring a Sports Trader Intern for its 10-week Summer 2027 program, running from early June through mid-August. Sports Traders formulate odds using statistics, in-house models, industry news, and sports knowledge, then manage those odds as circumstances change. The internship includes training and support, with a focus predominantly on MLB and/or WNBA. Interns will learn to compile odds for different markets, monitor prices, and make adjustments based on factors such as player news, customer behavior, and industry prices. The role includes learning to trade live MLB games using sports models and collaborating across the business. The position is based in FanDuel’s Jersey City office and requires in-office work five days per week, with an occasional option to work from home for non-operational shifts. The trading floor is busy, with multiple screens, potentially a personal TV, and constant noise and media activity. Some weekend and out-of-hours work is required, while working no more than five days per week. The internship offers a cohort experience, social events, professional development, and the possibility of consideration for a full-time opportunity or return internship.
