About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible physician in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Sports Medicine to join a multidisciplinary medical team. The physician will work 1–2 days per week in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of working up to 2 additional days per week in Wilmington, Delaware. Physicians working at both locations must be licensed in both Delaware and Maryland. The position offers a predictable 3–4-day workweek with no call or weekend work.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Sports Medicine.
• Active Delaware and/or Maryland medical license, depending on locations worked.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries and related conditions.
• Order and review diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Complete return-to-work evaluations as appropriate.
• Refer patients for therapy or specialist care when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff.
