Sports Lighting Field Technician

Veteran Hiring SolutionsFredericksburg, VA

About The Position

The team is expanding field service coverage in the Virginia region. The previous technician in this territory is no longer in the seat and the region carries active work volume. This position replaces a prior Army veteran who held the seat. The mission is to show up, figure it out, and get the lights back on. You will be handed a schedule on Sunday night, and by Monday morning you will be on the road with a Musco van, a parts inventory, and a work order queue. You will diagnose what is wrong with a piece of Musco lighting equipment on a pole that may be 100 feet in the air, fix it, document it, and move to the next site. When an NFL stadium goes dark on a Wednesday and the game is Sunday, your week changes in thirty minutes. This role rewards self-starters who do not need permission to act and who take quiet pride in work that nobody watches them do.
